The European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on September 26 as a way to value the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe and to encourage language learning in and out of school. On the occasion of the day, a range of are organised across Europe: activities for and with children, television and radio programmes, language classes and conferences. You can find more information about the European Day of Languages here and on Facebook.
