Discover Ourense I: Praza Maior (Main Square)
Our first postcard, sent to Dani, from Germany, shows Ourense's "Praza Maior" (Main Square):
The Praza Maior is perhaps one of the most impressive parts of Ourense. It is the heart and soul of Ourense, a sloped square enclosed by various stunning buildings with arcades to protect pedestrians from the rain and the wind. The two traditional powers of the city are located here: the Town Hall and the Bishop's Palace. Celebrations, processions and local festivals often take place here.

And of course, just as in Madrid, we can have a "relaxing cup of coffee" in its various terraces!
